Youth explore six careers connected to the rescue theme of the engineering challenge: aeronautical engineer, drone operator, firefighter, graphic designer, power plant operator, and real estate professional. They learn about these roles through a career quiz, short videos, A Day in the Life stories, and curated internet resources that show how diverse professionals help people in real-world emergencies. 

  • Recommended for use with Engineering Rescue Shuttles, grades 3–5
  • One 45-minute activity with extension ideas
  • Materials needed: at least one device with internet per group
