In Classrooms
Four unique design challenges that can be taught in any order build children's confidence in engineering.
unit Overview
Children use familiar materials to figure out how to make things that solve problems. They engineer loud noisemakers, fans that make enough wind to move a ball, wrecking balls that knock down block towers, and rafts that float and hold weight.
- 4 design challenges
- Whole group and station activities
Standards Alignment
We’ve developed Wee Engineer with careful attention to early childhood educational standards, including NAEYC and Head Start.
